Happy Friday! And happy first day of March!
What a beautiful sunny day it is here. I am a little jealous of the insane snow the Sierras are getting but looking forward to a little coming our way soon. Last weekend took us to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Winter is an amazing time to visit and if you haven’t been there, do add it to your list. Have a great weekend and here is your curated list…
Friday Links
Did you know that there are more golf courses than McDonalds in the US? That is crazy. Here is a cool initative to ‘rewild’ them, including one in Colorado.
Should we host a plank challenge at the studio? Lately, I have been doing more of these deep core exercises and feeling the benefit of them.
Anyone else struggle with breakfast? I have definitely been in a rut and appreciated this compilation of recipes.
Preaching to the choir here, but always a good reminder. Especially after new year’s resolutions wane.
And a little inspiration for your weekend.
Studio Updates
Thank you to everyone that participated in our Spring Schedule refresh! Here are the results and changes coming your way.
A second early class! Please join Lauren for a vinyasa flow class Mondays and Wednesdays at 7am!
Tuesday and Thursday 8:30am class will now be at 9am.
Monday-Thursday evening classes will now be at 5:45 pm. I had received some advice from a consultant to offer the same style of class for the evening slots (i.e. all vinyasa or all restorative). However, our poll showed that it was dead even between the two. So, if you need a faster paced vigorous class, please join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays and if you are looking for a slower more grounding class, please join us Monday and Wednesday nights.
Our Friday Happy Hour donation class will remain at 5pm and this year we are sharing proceeds with the Nederland Food Pantry!
Sunday Slow Down March 4th Restorative Yoga & Reiki. Reserve your spot now!
Here’s to a weekend of nature, magic and adventure:) xx
