The floors are done! I was sad about having to have them replaced but now that it is done, I really like them and it feels good to have a spring refresh. Unexpectedly, the new floors also re-inspired me as a business owner. Seeing the studio empty again, reminded me of when we first opened and all the hope and promise of opening a yoga studio in our beloved community. I’ll be honest, it isn’t always easy being a small business owner (especially the last couple of years) but seeing the studio empty had me reflect on just how wonderful our studio community is, how lucky we all are to have this resource and how honored I am to be a part of it all. I am feeling a little verklempt.

Also, last Friday my family tested positive for covid. Somehow, miraculously I have managed to stay negative thus far and their cases were mild. This soup was delicious and just what we needed during quarantine.
I loved The Love Boat when I was a kid and Charo was my favorite! I loved any and all episodes that she was on, so I was particularly enjoyed this profile in the New York Times.
There is one parenting educator that I like to follow, Dr. Laura Markham. She posted this article today which is a good reminder about mindset, whether you are a parent or not.
Speaking of mindset, this is a good podcast.
These always make me laugh out loud.
And before I close, a reminder to be present and love your people extra hard. We learned this morning of the passing of a friend. RIP Kaleb…may your spirit soar.
