Hello! How are you today?
This week was challenging…for no particular reason and for every reason. I am truly and genuinely an optimistic person but I will be honest that I struggled to find that this week. But today I meditated, practiced & taught yoga, hiked with a friend, dipped in the creek and baked bread. Ahhhh…. Once again, I am reminded that it is the simple things and time in nature that always renew my spirit. I hope this weekend gives you space to enjoy some time outside.

FRIDAY LINKS
I am really excited about this new cookbook. Also, anyone else out there have so much zucchini? If so, you will love this.
If you are up for live events, this music festival in Boulder looks awesome. It is hosted by the Future Arts Foundation, a really cool organization that supports music and cultural events in Colorado and gives instruments to elementary kids.
Speaking of great upcoming events, the Ned Ned race is back! We will be there leading a pre-race yoga stretch for both the 5K and the 10K. It is a fun race and an awesome way to support Teens, Inc. and youth in Nederland.
I have been chanting the Gayatri Mantra in my morning meditations this week and offered it in class today. It is a beautiful mantra in honor of the Divine Mother and the light that surrounds us and is within us.
Hanuman Academy is offering a free event this weekend hosting several master teachers including our dear friend and teacher Shakti. I plan to attend a few talks and hope to see you there.
