Sending you all big love as we head into a holiday weekend. I hope that you find time to be outside, connected to nature as this year winds down and we begin anew.
Friday Links
Have you ever had Coquito? One of my co-workers in the restaurant world used to make it for us and it is so delicious. Along those lines, Patrick is experimenting with making this…yum!
We are making this for dinner tonight. Perfect comfort food.
Have you heard about Drive & Listen? A different way to experience cities around the world.
This poem is like a warm weighted blanket of comfort and solace.
And this bit of advice from Joan Didion is spot on.
This would be a funny gift.
Studio Updates
Unfortunately, the studio is closed due to a water leak. There was a leak above us that came down through the walls and is coming up through our floor. Yikes. I am not sure what this means for classes at the studio next week as we might be looking at having to pull up the floor. Double Yikes. Please keep an eye on our schedule online before heading to the studio.
Winter Challenge 2022!! The winter challenge is back. For every 5 classes you attend, you will receive one entry into the Grand Prize drawing. No need to sign up or track your classes…everyone who attends class in January will automatically be entered. The challenge runs January 1-31 (unless we have to be closed longer due to the unfortunate water leak).
Lester will be offering another 3 week series, ‘What is Yoga?’ in January. Designed for those new to the practice and those looking to dive in a little bit deeper. This course will be on Wednesday nights and is free for members. Starts January 12.
Good news! We are in the process of becoming a vaccine verified facility through Boulder County. This means that once we are approved we will be able to offer unmasked classes to those that are able to show proof of full vaccination. We will continue to offer ‘masked’ classes that don’t require verification and always welcome you to wear your mask. We will adhere to all guidelines from the Boulder County Health Department and hope to roll this out in mid January. If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
