Hello!
I am back from my travels and the Friday List returns. I was excited to catch this view of Mt. Fuji at sunset as we traveled back home. We always feature a picture of the mountains for this blog and I would love to open it up to your contributions. Send us your favorite mountain pics and we will be sure to give you photo credit…you will be world famous!
Have a great weekend and here are some links to inspire you in the new year…
Friday Links
Do you know about the 30-90 Rule for taking naps? We experienced crazy jet lag coming home from Tokyo and all I wanted to do was sleep.
The home cooked meals we missed while away: Italian Baked Beans, Chicken Pot Pie, Curried Sweet Potato Soup and Peanut Butter Cookies.
For your next yoga class. Also, I loved this post about ‘Wintering’.
Winter, she said, “is something we get to experience rather than endure. We’ve all chosen to be here.” (NYT gift article).
Habits we wish we adopted earlier.
I listened to this podcast recently and am inspired to take this free class. Want to join me?
Studio Updates
The Winter Challenge is back! Pick up your bingo card, find your favorite wig and read the meditation book sitting on your shelf. Grand prize is 3 months of unlimited yoga or 3 60minute massages.
This Sunday’s slow down is a Hatha Practice with Taylor. Sadly, it is her last regularly scheduled class with us for awhile but keep an eye out for her on the sub list. Erin has also moved over to the sub list for now and Kim will be teaching Tuesdays at noon.
Justine is coming home for a winter visit! She will be subbing some classes while here and we will be teaming up to present an INNER POWER YOGA SAMPLER. Join us on February 3 as we offer a “Day in the Life of Teacher Training” designed to give you a taste of what yoga teacher training is like.
Also, on the horizon a special Valentines Nia class with Jen on 2/12 with a very fun and love inspired playlist.
Enjoy a peaceful winter weekend.
