I took this picture from my morning meditation spot this morning. While it is a little hard to see in this picture the aspen tree in the center is about 60 feet tall! I love how this aspen tree grew and grew and grew until there was enough light for it to begin to leaf. Sometimes it takes a lot of growth before we bloom. #lessonsfromtheforest
Friday Links
The images from the James Webb telescope are absolutely phenomenal. So much so, that it is kind of hard to comprehend. This opinion piece from NY Times (sorry for the paywall) articulates all the feels.
This book was recommended by one of our members, who thought you all might like it. And Sarah LOVED this podcast. Please always feel free to reach out if you have any links for the Friday List. You can email me or leave them in the comments below.
Thinking about podcasts, I shared this one a couple of weeks ago which drills down on the relationship between your diet and your health in regards to your physical body (in yoga this is the Annamaya Kosha). I am currently in the midst of this one, which is all about happiness and true bliss or the Anadamaya Kosha. So much wisdom and insight…I highly recommend.
Next time you are in Denver.
Speaking of restaurants, I found myself in Lafayette the other day and had lunch here. It was soooo good! And this coffee shop/store was really great.
