Happy Friday!
There are lots of fun things happening in Nederland this weekend…the MFP yard sale, the town clean-up (okay…maybe this doesn’t exactly fall into the category of fun but still awesome) open mic night at Sweet Sue’s and first Friday at Salto. I hope to see you out and about enjoying the weekend in our sweet mountain town. When you get a chance, here are some fun links for your perusal.

We are on a quest to visit 10 National Parks this year, so I found this story to be so heartwarming. It might make you a little teary in the best way!
We will be taking a road trip (Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone & Glacier) in a few weeks, so here are a few road trip inspired links…snacks, games, and the most exhaustive (and helpful) list I have ever found! BTW, I love this app and this one that they recommend.
Speaking of…June is an exciting month with the Strawberry full moon, a meteor shower and the solstice!
This article about protecting your joints in yoga is a good reminder that sometimes backing out of a posture brings more strength and is better for your body.
I was away this week at a conference and listened to a presentation on this organization. I found it to be very powerful and thought provoking.
Studio Updates
Reminder: We are painting today so there is no happy hour class tonight and no Vinyasa workshop on Saturday morning. We hope to be back open Sunday at 9am. Be sure to check the schedule before heading in.
We have 3 spots left for the Restorative Yoga and Reiki class on Sunday! We hope to see you for 90 minutes of relaxation and healing.
Summer Yoga News!
Calling All Early Birds!!! We are adding a Tuesday early morning class at 7am with Lauren, starting June 5th. And as an extra incentive for practicing early we are partnering with Salto Coffee for gift certificates (randomly passed out throughout the summer) and a grand prize at the end of the summer (for every early bird class you attend, you get one entry).
2023 Summer Challenge: June 1 - August 31. Pick up the challenge card at the studio and for every 5 classes you attend throughout the summer months, you’ll be entered into our prize drawing (local gift cards, massages and free yoga)!
Yoga in the Park returns: 6pm Tuesdays with Taylor at Chipeta Park starting June 6th. If the weather is bad, class will be at the studio.
The early bird pricing for the 200 hour training has passed but we have 3 spots left. If you are curious, ready to learn more about the practice of yoga or just want to spend a lot of time with me and Justine, we would love to talk to you more about our training!
Enjoy the sunshine, the rain, the thunder, the lightening and a beautiful weekend.
