Happy first Friday of June! What a week…rain, snow, hail, sleet, below 30 degrees, about 70 degrees, cloudy, sunny…all the above and everything in between! But this is why we live in the mountains…right?!! Hope you enjoyed it all and here are some fun links plus studio updates and cool things to do this weekend.
Friday Links
Have any of you stayed in Keystone recently? I was there for a conference this weekend and reminded of how awesome it is.
I was talking with a friend about favorite SNL skits and I had never seen this one…so great! I have previously posted my favorite but here it is again. Plus this one is always so good.
We received 2lbs of spinach from our CSA this week…so much spinach (which reminds me of one of L’s favorite sleep stories). If you also are experiencing an abundance of spinach, here are some inspiring recipes.
Studio Updates
Yoga in the park starts next week! Wednesdays with JB (level 1) and Thursdays with Amy (level 2). BTW…level 2 classes aren’t meant to discourage anyone but rather entice those who seek some more challenges in their practice. Variations and modifications will always be offered to support all students.
This week’s class feature is a New Class!! Yoga Bones with Patty Thursdays at 9am. Some of you may remember that Patty completed the 200 hour training at Tadasana last summer and we are excited to have her teaching at the studio!
“This class offers a slow Vinyasa flow which simply means “to place in a special way.” Mindful movement between poses with emphasis on regulated breathing. An alignment centered practice that is fluid, fun and safe. Asanas are held a bit longer to find true stillness and ease. Gyrokinesis is incorporated in the vinyasa movement. A fluid dance movement that improves posture, balance and core stability. Fluid movement that energizes the joints while stretching and strengthening the whole body.”
Lester is headed out on some adventures and his last class at Tadasana will be June 25. Please join us for a celebration and send off afterwards (12pm) and for classes before then!
