Sorry to have missed you last week. We were at our three times rescheduled Rest & Renew Retreat at Joyful Journey Hot Springs. It was deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. I hope that all of you can join us down there some day. We will be headed back down in May 2022 (send me an email if you would like to be on the list when we open up registration). On the way down, we stopped for lunch here. I highly recommend it if you are in BV.
What are you up to this weekend? We are going to this event, so excited. And while not as exciting, we are also going to this…a great resource for our community. I am getting my booster shot and taking it easy the rest of the weekend.

A classic for dinner tonight. Plus I have been experimenting with adding spelt flour to my sourdough loaves with this recipe. One loaf turned out amazing…the other, not so much. But that is one of the things I love about baking bread…you never know how it is going to turn out.
Another great article from the New York Times about HIIT workouts. (Don’t forget we offer our own mountain version of a HIIT fitness class Tuesday/Thursdays via Zoom).
Local writer, Tracy Ross, published a great review of the book, Powder Days.
This puzzle looks crazy hard.
I have been listening to this meditation this week.
