Happy Halloween Weekend Mountain Yogis!
There are lots of spirited things happening to celebrate the holiday. At the studio; Sarah’s Spooky Sound Bath on Sunday, and Jen’s Annual Costume Nia on Monday. There is also the haunted house in Rollinsville (one of the best in the state!) and of course Halloween at the Carousel. And while not Halloween related, next week the Nederland Historical Society is hosting their annual fundraiser. I hope to see you out and about!
Friday Links
Continuing with the Halloween theme, and because I have to come up with a snack to send to the elementary school, I was excited about this post.
My favorite international holiday is Day of the Dead. We traveled to Oaxaca for the holiday as part of our honeymoon and it is truly something to experience. The offrendas are elaborate and stunning, the costumes and parade are a true visual delight, and the midnight ceremonies at the cemeteries are tender and often joyous. I love how the Mexican culture honors and remembers those who have passed.
These pictures are stunning.
This study is really interesting.
We need this for the coming weekend!
Studio Updates
In addition to the events listed above, we have a Intro to Yoga Therapy on Saturday, November 4th with Angie and Restorative Yoga & Reiki on Sunday, November 5th.
Enjoy a beautiful and cold weekend! XX
