Hooray, it is Friday!
Remember the happy dance? How could you forget, when I love to share it so frequently?! I hope you have a moment for your own happy dance this weekend. Feel free to send me a video. (wink, wink)

A new favorite from my favorite cooking blog. Delicious and spicy!
I was required to watch this video on equity, diversity and inclusion for my work with Teens, Inc. It is really powerful. There was also this quote which I really liked, “If you value the differences in people, the differences will provide value.” -Unknown
The NY Times is doing an interesting series examining the science and/or truth behind several wellness trends. I appreciated this one, as I have been experimenting with intermittent fasting and this one about probiotics was really interesting as well.
I am not entirely sure why, but this made me laugh out loud. Speaking of laughter, we were talking the other night about all time best SNL skits and this one is at the top of my list. So damn funny. I found this list today and there are some good ones on here…I had totally forgotten about #1. Everyone needs more cowbell in their lives!
We are thinking/dreaming about a trip to England in the Spring to visit family and friends. Our friends live here, and we will definitely spend some time in London. Any recommendations?
Studio Updates
Our Fall 2021 schedule is up! And there are a few updates…
The town has graciously offered us use of the park through October for Tuesday and Thursday nights. We look forward to many lovely fall practices outdoors.
Marni has a busy fall with work and kids and will be taking a break from teaching Ashtanga. She will continue to sub, so don’t worry, you’ll still get to practice with her.
Sadly, Liz is moving to SLC, but she got a dream job working in the climbing industry, which is near and dear to her heart. We will miss her. Her last class is 9am Wednesday September 15th.
Carly wanted me to tell you that she sends you all her love and while she isn’t coming back to teaching yet, she will someday. In the meantime, I will hold her space on Saturdays at 9am. Look forward to some great core engagement and opportunity to play and learn more advanced poses together this fall.
Many of you have asked for a Sunday afternoon class…you got it! Forest Yoga with Kate will now be Sundays at 3pm. As always, if you have any input on the schedule, please reach out to me. I am willing to experiment and switch things around to see if new class times and offerings might work.
Lastly, Justine and I will be offering a practice of 108 sun salutations on Monday September 20 at 5:45. There are a couple of spots left if you would like to join.
We have increased our class size to a very comfortable and well spaced 12 spots. We continue to recommend that you pre-register to guarantee a spot but likely there will be room for you if you just show up. We will cancel any class that does not have anyone signed up 60 minutes before class, so be sure to check before heading to the studio.
Thank you for your continued support of Tadasana as we keep moving forward and taking deep breaths together.
